Metering Pumps
For Controlled Pumping
by Duda Energy
Metering pumps are used in applications where a controlled flow rate is required. Simply turn the dial to control the stroke size of the pump to the appropriate desired flow rate. These pumps are heavily demanded in rhe chemical industry, biodiesel making, water & sewage treatment, labs/testing rooms and for other applications where regulation of fluid pumping is required.
These pumps are especially useful in the biodiesel process. They can be used for injecting the methanol & catalyst mixture into the feedstock oil stream during processing. They are also very useful in dry washing. Simply set the needed flow rate to pass through dry wash towers and the pump will control the flow through the towers for a perfect, slow clean. These pumps can be run dry without damage, so they may also be left alone during the dry washing process.
